The Energy Flex Fund

The Energy Flex Fund

Non-Operated Oil & Gas Participation

A private energy opportunity offered through Rise Capital Group

Watch the overview to learn how the fund is structured and evaluated.

Why The Fund Exists

Oil & gas is complex. We built a fund to make it simple.

Don't get stuck with one company, one well, and one bad experience.

Finding good operators, understanding geology, vetting deal structures — it's a full-time job most professionals don't have time for.

Energy Flex Fund is a non-op oil and gas fund that partners with multiple vetted operating companies. You select the projects. The operators drill. We administer the fund and report on activity.

Due Diligence

Vetted by Engineers & Geologists

Every project is reviewed by technical professionals before it reaches our partners.

Allocation

Diversified Across Project Types

Capital is spread across drilling, production, royalties, and mineral interests.

Structure

Non-Operated Participation

Operators handle field execution. Partners hold the interest, not the day-to-day burden.

Project Categories

What the fund participates in

The Energy Flex Fund is a pooled fund. Partners purchase units and allocate them across a curated set of oil and gas projects through our online portal. Below is a summary of the categories our team — engineers, geologists, and experienced capital allocation professionals — evaluates for our partners.

01

Exploration & Proven Undeveloped Locations

New Well Drilling

New well drilling projects may generate intangible drilling cost (IDC) deductions. Tax treatment depends on the specific offering and each participant's individual circumstances.

May Qualify for IDC Deductions

02

Already-Drilled Producing Wells

Existing Production

Producing wells with a verifiable history. Deductions may already have been taken, but assets can be acquired below replacement cost and evaluated for operational improvements and production enhancements based on the characteristics of each asset.

Lower Deduction Potential, Established Production History

03

Restoring Proven Infrastructure

Re-Completions & Reworks

Wells with a history of production that need workovers — broken tubing, worn pumps, or behind-pipe zones proven to hold hydrocarbons that have never been perforated. Existing infrastructure with additional development potential.

Deductibility Depends on the Lease Structure and Workover Costs

04

Revenue Without Operational Exposure

Overriding Royalty Interests

ORRIs are paid on gross revenue after the original royalty owners and do not share in operational expenses. Distributions, if any, depend on available cash and the terms of the governing offering documents.

No operational cash calls

05

Ownership Below the Surface

Mineral Interests

Ownership of a fraction of the hydrocarbons at the molecular level. When leased to a producing operator, mineral owners hold a proportionate interest in revenue, as defined by the lease, without sharing in operational expenses.

Revenue-based, no operational expense exposure

06

Field & Package Acquisitions

Field & Package Acquisitions

Packages of existing wells or entire fields — consolidating ownership, improving operational efficiency, and evaluating behind-pipe and infill drilling opportunities across a single footprint.
